YOUR STORY BELONGS TO YOU

This page describes how the current SahajSaath pilot works. It is not a substitute for a reviewed launch privacy policy.

What we store

Your sign-in email, profile information, preferences, compatibility answers, uploads, connections, messages, scenario answers, family permissions and consent history are stored to provide the service. The app does not request government identity documents or exact birth details.

Private drafts

Unfinished profile edits are saved privately to your account as you write, so you can continue later. They do not change your shared story until you choose Save my story. If another tab has newer work, you can review the versions before continuing. Your data download includes your private draft, and deleting your account removes it.

Who can see your information

Publishing makes your profile story and selected compatibility answers available to signed-in members, subject to blocking and discovery settings. Photos follow your chosen visibility. Astrology details are available to accepted connections if you enable the feature. Your email is not part of your member profile.

Closeness & trust questions

These four answers are private and excluded from discovery matching and Family circle. Within an accepted connection, each person can explicitly share a copy of their saved answers. The comparison is visible only while both choose to share. Editing your saved story does not change a shared copy; you must choose Share updated answers. Stopping sharing hides the comparison on future reads, and ending or blocking the connection clears the shared copies. Your download includes your own copy only.

Private conversations

Messages are available to the two accepted members in a connection. Guided answers stay private until both people explicitly choose to share. Revoking sharing stops future display; it cannot undo what someone has already seen. We do not promise screenshot prevention or end-to-end encryption.

Voice and video calls

When calling is enabled, both people must agree to join. SahajSaath exchanges temporary connection details and uses a relay service to carry the call. SahajSaath does not record the audio or video. Call request and consent records are retained with your account; temporary connection details are cleared when the call is ended. Leaving the conversation stops your microphone and camera.

Introductions and reflections

We store your weekly introduction selections so they remain consistent when you return. Saved profiles are private to you. Reflections after conversations are also private to your account, including after a connection ends or is blocked. They are not shared with your connection, family or the moderator report queue, and do not currently change your match ranking. You can delete a reflection or include it in your data download.

Family sharing

Invite links can be claimed once by a signed-in account within seven days. Only the fields you select are shared, and you can revoke access. Send links only to the intended recipient.

Storage and moderation

The pilot uses Cloudflare-hosted structured and object storage and Google sign-in with a private session cookie. Authorized moderators can review reports and suspend accounts. Moderator actions are logged. This version does not send your private conversations to an AI model.

Your choices

In Settings you can pause discovery, change photo visibility, disable astrology, export your saved information, and delete your account and uploads. Account deletion removes your profile and associated conversations. Reports can retain their text for moderation review after deletion, with links to the deleted account removed. Suspension disables participation and sharing, but you can still download your own information and original uploads or delete your account.
